The "Schemel"
By Eric Tobey, revised by Jonathan Bocek

The following are plans for two types Schemel (stools). Both were drawn from original examples & were made available by Eric Tobey. We would like to thank him for his generosity, which allows us to share this research with the rest of you. Keep in mind, these stools were intended for barracks use. Please do not use them as camp stools, for outside displays, etc... These would have been found in the German barracks only, not in the field!
