Guidelines
Food:
Food should be that of German iron rations & food scrounged from the
local areas. We are in Germany, so acquired "period" civilian
foodstuffs are permitted. Of course all items must be wrapped in
period style and have period labels (nothing modern).
Appearance:
Hair should resemble a period style cut. Short on sides and sort of long on
top. If you do not hair a proper period hair cut, WE WILL CUT IT FOR
YOU!
For this event, stubble is
permitted. Please, no full beards, no mustaches, & no side burns.
The dirtier your uniform & gear are, the better!!!
The
Uniform:

Helmet - |

M42 helmets
are preferred, but earlier models are acceptable. The less
decals on the helmets the better (please no double decals) &
no camo helmets please. |

Cap - |

M43 caps in
feldgrau or late war brown wool. |

| 3. |
Tunic - |
|
M44, 43,
& 42 tunics are preferred but M40 tunics are acceptable. |

Trousers

M43 or M44
trousers preferred. M40 model in feldgrau acceptable. |

| 5. |
Footwear
- |
|
Low boots
and gamaschen are highly encouraged, but jackboots are allowed if
the previous version is unavailable. Please no winter boots. |

Shirt - |

M41 service
shirt preferred. |

| 7. |
Greatcoat
- |
|
M42 or M40
mantels (overcoats) are highly recommended. M36 acceptable |

| 8. |
Equipment
- |
|
Basic
infantry gear setup is the call. A mix of web & leather
gear is documented. Everyone should have and wear the
gas-can (with gas-cape bag is encouraged), shovel, & bayonet.
Note: Please bring your tornisters
to this event. We will be having a formation with them that
we weren't able to do at FIG.
